Romney would have been okay as pres or VP (We actually liked Fred Thompson, but he ended up out early), but the McCain campaign would have ended up like Obama with Biden. The democrats would have used all the things Romney said about McCain in the primary against him.

Yes, the fact that she is a woman figured into the choice. The democrats have tried hard to push the fact that Obama is black down our throats.

Lets forget who's black/white and male/female and focus on the issues! People who vote based on the color of someones skin or their chromosome combination are as racist/sexist as they accuse everyone else of being!

I hope to find out more about how Ms. Palin will deal with the issues of the day before I vote (so far she sounds very good to me).

Ok...I hope I'm not opening a pandora's box here, but am I the only one that it bothers that she's got 5 kids...the youngest only a few months old with special needs....but yet she wants to be VP? She may be a good choice for the position I know next to nothing about her....... call me old fashioned, but it bothers me when a woman doesn't put her kids first. It's hard enough to find time for 5 kids in a normal life.

She is an excellent choice. I have heard from people that were against McCain and not going to vote at all and now they are looking at McCain with new eyes. This could seal it for him. Personally I will be voting for Star .... my favorite Dominique chicken!

She is running on a organic feed platform and enjoys fresh apple not pretzels for snacks! Vote for the HEN!!!! Okay ... I'll go do laundry now! LOL
