I think it is awesome!! I had read she was a dark horse and loved everything about her!! I was iffy on McCain, but this makes the choice so much easier!!

Well, the choice certainly mixes things up a bit, to say the least. I was ho-humming about McCain till he chose her and now I have to go to square one in assessing the two as a team. In the beginning, I thought Obama was interesting... till I found out more about him than I wanted to know and it wasn't good. Not for one second on any planet would I ever vote for Hilary Clinton, so she was never considered, period. Then John McCain was like vanilla anything. BOOOOORING! Then he made an interesting choice of running mate. Personally, before this happened, I was ready to yell "Do-over!!!!" Nobody had my vote. NOBODY. Well, maybe Bob Barr comes close. One thing I think is nuts is anyone having a baby at 44 years old. That makes me question her sanity, LOL.

Palin is a silly pick and puts Republicans in the strange position today of contradicting everything they've said for the last three months. Everything they said was a shortcoming of Obama, Palin has and more. What is funnier, is they have been out there saying it.

McCain has only spoken to her once for a couple of minutes. Yet, he is convinced that she is a heartbeat away from being President of the United States? This is really unfair to her, like what happened to Quayle 20 years ago. He was an up and coming young republican who was thrust into the national spotlight way before he was ready. Luckily, H didn't die. But H was much younger than McCain. Palin's political career just died. I feel bad for Palin and bad for our country that we have a political process where she is selected to be VP. It seems she was only selected to shock people for one day following Obama's speech. Reminds me of Bush and his appointing people like Brownie because he liked him, regardless of any actual competence or experience in the job. Or nominating his friend Harriet Miers for the Supreme Court.
