I let my call and mandarin ducks out to free range (when I am home to watch). I was standing at the kitchen window, which has a great view of the little duck pond, and saw the calls just scatter. Then saw the ginormous owl swoop by the window. I ran like crazy outside just in time to see the owl take a 2nd swoop at them. Way too close!!!! Needless to say, the ducks went back into their covered pen. I hate predators. It was beautiful tho'.
