Whoever just outbid me for Salmon Faverolle eggs on eBay

I just threaten with the "Rooster curse," everybody gets roos by the handful, so IF they think my curse was successful - good for me.

I know how you feel. It recently happened to me with serama eggs. I walked away from the computer thinking it was done since no one placed a bid in days and BAM. I lost but luckily the seller sold me some eggs anyway.

Honestly I think that auto-bid method is cheating. Part of bidding is having that last second talent. . . Not letting a machine do it for you.

But the auto-bid guards against computer failure, ISP failure and other life obligations keeping you from losing the auction. And you can always set it a couple bucks below what you would really pay and pay attention to the bidding at the last minute. I don't think of it as cheating, but as an aid to winning items I am really interested in.

I have a website, upwiththechickens.com

I usually sell the salmon faverolle eggs for $10 a dozen. I have some chicks hatching right now.
