i am new, so please forgive me for this question. i know it sounds ridiculous. if it were fertilized and had 2 yolks, could 2 chicks be hatched from that egg... my shift key is broken, so no caps or question marks tonight.
Yep! I was just actually browsing a thread the other day where a member put two double yolk eggs in an incubator, and one of them successfully hatched two chicks. Only one made it from the other egg. She took a video of the hatch and everything. It was pretty neat!
But it's pretty normal to get multiple yolks once in a while, I've heard stories of three yolks, although never gotten one of those myself. P.S. Australia? I thought your username rang a bell. I've been in Adelaide for almost five years now.
