Forgive me if this has already been mentioned and I missed it, but does anybody remember the old Chapstick commercials with Peekaboo Street (the olympic skier) who slid into the frame, plowing snow up and saying, "I'm a Chapstick girl, not a lipstick girl"??

Been one of many 'catchphrases' for me ever since.

I used to use cherry Lip Ice, but it suddenly disappeared from the shelves some years ago, so I was left in search of a good balm. I never liked the 'plasticy' feel of the chapstick, so I never used it until I found Chapstick 100% Naturals.

There's a tube in my pocket at ALL times, a tube in the table beside the couch, a tube in the silverware drawer, a tube in the medicine cabinet, and always have at least 5 extra on hand at all times. Even start having cold sweats if there's fewer than 5 to spare. I buy 10 tubes (or more) at a time when they're on sale.

Ah, Picabo Street. I'd almost forgotten about her. I think she was one of the last "big" athletes Chapstick used.

I'm half-expecting them to use Hannah Montana/Miley Cirus for their new "Flava-Craze" promotion...

I will, however, have to pick up the Nemo Wavy Grape Lip Balm for my granddaughter...

Guilty! I was just sitting here thinking that I should get up and get the Chapstick out of my purse when I saw this post. I also like Burt's Bees Lip Shimmers - in Nutmeg! I have them spread out all over the place, so there's always one handy - bathroom medicine cabinet, my purse, my desk at work...
