Who's a Lip Balm Junkie!

Oh, I love my lips stuff. Forever I used Carmex in the squeezie tube, and then I got the roll on kind. Yuck!

I hate that stuff. I swear it makes my lips itch and burn and feels more chapped. The kind in the squeezie tube and the little tin they had never did that. Now I use whatever is handy. I have the stuff in the car and in several rooms in the house. Burts Bees, Carmex, a nifty lip plumper (for those days were you look in the mirror and you look like the walking dead), Blistex Silk and Shine, and Covergirl's Clear Coat. It is marvelous. I really used to love this stuff Blistex made. It was in a squezzie tube and it tasted marvelous...but I haven't seen it in years...

My tenage daughter gave me a sample tube of balm from the orthodontists office that she just has to have.

It's called Essentials Lip Naturals made by OraLabs. So now I gotta find a place that sells this stuff.
She's wanted it for ages but lost the 1st tube and couldn't tell me what it was called or who made it. So she got me a tube when she had her appointment today...

I buy hordes of Chapstick at Costco, just in case I ever am out. If I don't have any, I feel like my lips are on fire. This generally only happens when I awake in a strange room, not wearing the right clothes and hungover. The first stop is always the magic chapstick drawer.

We use the stuff year round.
Our favorite comes in a tube, vaseline medicated, we cant find it any where and we are so sad.
the medicated really helped ease wind burn and we like the tingly feeling. wish someone still carried it.

Ok, so I keep a regular Burt's Bees on the night stand and a tube of Carmex in my purse. The little pot of Carmex is awesome!!! I got giggles from the posts about LipSmackers. My all time fav was starfruit! Oh, and pink lemonade. Is it me, or is anyone else's lip getting dry while reading this thread?

just got back from Sam's club and got 5 tubes of 100% Naturals Chapstick.

normally i DETEST the flavored chapsticks...i like the smell of the original.
but these are 3 tubes of Botanical Medley with sunflower oil, coconut oil, jojoba and beeswax. also 2 tubes of Lip Butter, a blend of natural butters! it was like 6 or 7 bucks.

AND a 10 pack of Carmex. i don't like the stuff in the tub, but it works great for bad chapping so, keep it for the kids in winter. had 3 tubs in package. also 3 lip balm bars and 4 lip balm tubes! 8 bucks!

my son was all over it when i got home....mom! i need one for my back pack at school! he got chapped from recess last year in the wind. not this year, people!!!

I haven't read this entire thread, but I am not ashamed to say that I put Bag Balm on my lips. Or anywhere else that is dry. It works great! But the smell...not so much.

and even the Chapstick Naturals, new and fancy for former Chapstick snobs like myself

I buy the gross Cherry Chapsticks for my 3 kids, cheap and they like it

the smell makes me slightly nauseous
