"who's building an incubator"

I plan to have two seperate incubation systems in one cabinet one over the other. This way I can set eggs in one and leave the other down until just before lock down. Or I could set two different batches of eggs at different times. like having two seperate incubators in one cabinet.

Looks great, i made one last year from an old fish tank that my son had. I have to turn the eggs bit last year it worked well. This year i got it out to set up and the same day 3 hens went broody........So i shall leave it another month before setting up again.

I would definatly do the same thing! nothing like mother nature and a broody hen to get healthy baby chicks.

That actually sounds really cool, I think that you could add two doors, I would like to see you making like a 6 ft tall cabinet incubator/hatcher. I like that idea.

You are going to use 2 heating systems?

I am getting a little antzy just thinking about building something that big.

Yes I am plan on building two separate incubators in one cabinet. I just need to plan it out right I have a few ideas bouncing around in my head, which can be dangerious at times. I will be posting pics however every step of till completion.

This is our cabinet incubator my bf is building me, we have 2 thermostats one at the top and one at the bottom, bc it is so tall. We will be converting it to a digital thermostat after this first set of eggs (it is a 2 week shipping time and I didnt want to wait that long) it can hold up to 205 eggs with all the egg turners in place.

That looks great! If you got a similar digital to mine, it didn't take 2 weeks to get to me... maybe a week. Put the probe in the middle to get the middle temp

I have a thermometer at the top and the bottom to make sure my air is circulating good.
