Who's doing Spring cleaning?

Me, sadly. I have to help my dad clean out the bedrooms, etc. and we are working on the chicken coops.

But the good part is that we are also going to build a chick brooder box!

Well I do have a big house. Much bigger than I need right now. I raised 6 children here so we needed a large house. Only one left at home and he is only 11. We would like to down size and move out of town but with the house market the way it is we will need to hold out a few years.
Big job keeping a 7000 sq ft house clean !

I am on BYC procrastinating my Spring Cleaning LOL!

I was planning on planting the veggie garden today, but it is raining. So I guess it's a good day to start the cleaning. MY DD having her First Holy Communion on the 25th and I will be having a house full of people here. The chicks just moved out of the bathroom yesterday, so that definitely needs a good scrubbing to get the chick dust that is covering every surface in there. I also want to rearrange the furniture.

But I'm still here.... ok. got. to. get. moving. :::sigh:::

Oh good, I thought I was the only one doing some Spring cleaning.

I got the desk glued back together and cleaned out, the barn cleaned (not really Spring cleaning I know), some organizing done for a yard sale and my brooder room dusted. Man can chicks ever kick up a LOT of dust!

It's not quite warm enough around here for any garden planting yet so I'm off the hook for that for a few more weeks. Hmmm....think I'll do lots of carrots and peas again this year. I hope it's a better growing year this year than last. It was soooo wet around here that the carrots rotted in the ground...ick.

Weather is cold , windy, wet , damp and all around miserable today:/ ...so a good day to get it finished.

Brooding happens in the basement. So does hatching, and vegetibles under grow lights. Your welcome to come help me dust this big place anytime.
