update: 5 rocking peeping eggs, one pipped egg...hole is fairly big but no progress in the last 5 hours or so, little one must be resting. I'm so excited! I hope she/he's OK! Can't believe Ive got 6 out of 6 that made it this far. My eggs were shipped to Maine from California!

hole is bigger, I see bill! Black bill, can't tell the down color yet! This is painful to watch......I'm so excited, I just want the little guy out! No other pips yet but all the eggs are peeping. Waiting paitiently! (actually, waiting impatiently)

I am DYING right now! I WANT MY DUCKY!

Seriously, this is so hard. I feel like a kid on Christmas Eve.....The worst thing is I work a 12 hour shift tomorrow (6am - 6pm) so I have to sleep tonight....and I want to see it hatch! Waaaa.....come on baby!

One baby was out of half her shell around 9 pm last night, (head and wings out, bottom of shell still over her butt. I checked her at 1 am and she'd gotten free of the shell completely but had a little bit of a rough navel. I went back to bed, checked just now, she's moving around a little, but still looks pretty wiped. She's managed to 'right' herself, but is still mostly sleeping. Is this normal? The chicks I've hatched have been a lot more active, kind of flailing about the incubator, after hatching. Help! I'm worried about her!

I have one other egg pipped, and all are rocking a bit. Of course I have to work 12 hours this morning....my husband will be here...I hope I don't miss them all!

for ducks i think being lazy after haching. It's real hard. One of my ducks hacted last night and is still lazy.

I'm still counting the days i remove my bantam eggs Thursday to the hatcher it's already up and getting steady.
Then stop the turner on my Duck eggs the 8th and try to not lose my mind waiting
Doe's putting cheese cloth in the hatcher help with the mess?

2 babies out! Wade was born last night, now is a perky little soft duckling. Puddles was born this evening and is already fluffing up and walking around. One more egg pipped, all rocking! This is awesome...they are incredibly cute!
