Who's Hatching Ducks? Hatch With Us!! *Page 3*

So far so good with my Indian Runner eggs and mixed duck eggs.

We will just have to wait and see.
If I am calculating right, the first ones I have SHOULD start to hatch around May 21st and the last of them, May 30th.
But then I havent got my Blue Swedish eggs yet and a friend just gave me two more Indian Runner eggs....

ugh, the waiting is soooo hard! 5 days until they come out of the turner....

Seriously folks. I've birthed 5 of my own babies, and the waiting for THAT was not as tortuous as this. I think it's because with all the damaged air cells I don't KNOW that they'll be okay. When I hatched chickens, I didn't worry. There's just something about this batch of ducks that has me NUTTY! Today is day 24. No internal pipping yet, but still thrashing.
ARGHHH! I'll go and get smileys if they have one for pacing.

I have another goose out!!
The egg I was worried about is pipped now.
Another (set two days later) is peeping!
Everything looking good!

I have a baby goose!!

I had gotten 2 eggs from vicki2x2 a month ago. Both the eggs made it to hatch day, but one of them died after pipping the air cell

But I still have one!! I was amazed that I did this well, I haven't been having much luck with eggs period this season.

It is a baby american blue, and it is so cute!!

I think if I had seen baby geese before I got ducks, I would have skipped the ducks!! Baby geese are just the sweetest things!!

Well the one that had a pip not much progress the one next to it has a pip. I can hear the first one chirping at me but hole is still the same size been like that now going on day 2? Anyone know if u can tell the sex of rouens at hatch one rouen that hatched 3 days ago was blk and browns with yellow the one that died was all yellow?


Ps We have 4 dozen more rouen duck eggs waiting to go in bator
