I wanted to buy this product- really badly. My girlfriend said the dr told her the prescription strength was twice the strength of the otc product. Sooo, in my mental state- I figured I would double what the bottle said to take...

then I heard the words, "picky seepage".

I am a veterinary technician- I wrestle dogs for a living and end up playing a doggie Twister game with my coworkers on a rough day (nail trims, blood draws, bandage changes, xrays- dogs never think it is a good idea, and we end up in some very twisted and compromising positions to hold the animal in the proper position, and so nobody gets bit).

Can you imagine?

I decided to just be fat. Fat but no picky seepage.

Edit to Add:

BWAHAHAHAHAHAHAHA!!!!! I definitely did NOT say PICKY seepage, but I find the automatic censorship word choice absolutely hilarious. Today is going to be a very good day. Im not going to edit my wording, because I think I like the words 'picky seepage'.

I have a friend who was afraid to try this alii? because of the stories and she tried Carb Intercept instead. She had been trying to lose weight for a long time with no sucess. This was her last attempt before seeing a Dr about surgery. The carb intersept has had 2 changes for her life.....Weight loss and increased energy. She has gone down 3 sizes and complained that her pant keep falling down so she needs a good belt. I just wanted to tell you about it in case you might want another idea. Good Luck to you

This just cannot be healthy for a body - I mean... really? I have IBS (okay..probably way more than ya'll needed to know

) however I just couldnt IMAGINE living like that day in and day out.

It HAS to mess up your intestinal and stomach linings - there isnt any way that it can't. Hmm.. I'm going to ask my gastro when I see him next Monday and see what he says, I'll let ya'l know

I too am now wondering what word you used that replaced it with "picky"

I've been using it for about 2months now,I don't weigh myself so I don't know how much weight I've lost but I can tell I have lost. I've not had to carry any extra underwear, or "can't" control moments. The gas issue is my biggest or I should say DH's biggest complaint. The pill makes you think about what you are eating because you know if you eat too much or too many calories in a day you will be on the toilet for a while. Thanksgiving I knew I'd eat more than the limit so I just didn't take any pills that day, but otherwise I've taken them regularly and no issues!

I have a question.. and please, I hope no one takes this the wrong way because I certainly dont mean it in a bad way at all... I realize there are some people that need help losing weight via medications.

That being said - if a pill makes you more aware of what you're putting in your body and flushes the fat out of the foods you are eating so you dont absorb the fat - why wouldnt you just not eat high fat foods to begin with - and if you're already having to watch what you eat because of said pill - arent you already conscientously minding what you are putting into your body before you take the pill?? So why not do away with the pill then and just dedicate yourself to a healthier eating habit?

Our stomachs and intestinal linings have bacterias and things on them to prevent us from having diarhea and whatnot for a reason. Like if you have the flu - it isnt good for a long time. If I eat high fatty rich foods - they send me running as it is because my body isnt used to having them. Same principal from what I've read and heard about Alli - right?
