ME~~I'm more than ready for Fall. I don't tolerate the heat at all, and it seems the summers are getting hotter and hotter here in the mountains.

When Fall finally rolls around I can actually go outside (minus insect repellent) and play (which is work). Get all the things done I haven't been able to.

The only down side to Fall are the "leaf lookers"......they stop in the middle of the road to take pics; travel 15 MPH in a 35 zone; trespass (despite the signs)

I am soooo ready for fall. I want to watch the leaves turning colors, decorate my porch for fall, do some holiday baking, smell the fresh, crisp air in the morning, visit apple orchards, run through a cornfield maze in the dark, watch the home team at Friday night football games... Yup, I absolutely *love* fall.

Just thinking about it makes me happy.

It will be Halloween here before it really starts to cool down. That's only 78 more days... but who's counting.

Mid October we'll take a hike up the west fork of Oak Creek Canyon near Sedona. In November, once again, we'll climb to the to of Picacho Peak... then it's paradise here for Thanksgiving, Christmas, New Years, Valentine's Day.

The hens will be laying and the chicks will be hatching...

I don't know yet.. our school's Theatre Club hasn't released it yet. There's a rumor it starts with S, but the only play schools around here do that is S is Suessial and the high school did that last year. I'd audition for Gertrude, but I'd probably end up with Macy. The Macy in the high school was like six feet tall and eighteen years old...and I was the tallest girl in the class last year and am pretty much the oldest.
