Who's the daddy ?

Parents aren't my birds mums legs are darkish but not sure of the colour . She only has 4 toes but . The little dark chick started crowing this morning, so he's a roo. He's got 5 toes so would his dad be a silkie ?
Oh these pictures are better. With her having the dark legs i can only suggest that the babies daddy would not have the same grey leg color since the chicks have green legs.

Im no geneticist but it inerests me.

D5 is Luna's dad.
I'm gonna say she is a pullet.
Luna is a silver based pattern. The hen is gold based as is every one of the roosters except D5. He looks as he is silver/gold. His pullet offspring could be silver or gold. His cockerels offspring would get a gold gene from mom and either be gold/gold or silver/gold.
With the mothers color I would think that any cockerels would be showing at least a tad of some gold/buff/yellow. Since it doesn't I'm gonna have to say it is pure for silver making it only possible to be female.

Oh I hope so , Thankyou for the explanation I think everyone but one person has said she's a pullet ( and they might of just guessed because they said Mardi was a girl, then he crowed the next day)
. I'm still learning what all the colours are . Is the silver the colour in her wings and tail ? Or in her chest /head ( wings looks silver to me but sometimes names are different) Any idea who Mardi's dad would be ?

So this is Luna's line ?

Could you get close-up pictures of the chicks' combs? Also, #5 has what looks like a severe case of scaly leg mites.
Yes I've let the lady who owns him know about the scaly mites . It was an old photo , he was hiding from the rain the day I went out , so it was the one she had from when he came in, he has been treated ( he came in as a rescue like that )

Are these good enough comb close ups? They are from this morning. Or should I take some more ??
