My DH and I met on Friday the 13th. This Thanksgiving we will celebrate 22 wonderful years of marriage.

Hi,

We've been married 44 years as of August 21. No one thought we would get past the first year. DH was kind of wild (well...more than kind of) in his younger days and I was a bookworm/scholar/nerd, but it all worked out for the best! Maybe opposites really do attract!

Edited to add: Here is a picture of us taken just this past Saturday when I was getting ready to go to a Halloween party with DD. I couldn't talk DH into going, so the two of us went and DH took our grandson to the movies in the meantime. I was dressed as "Lady Luck" and won 1st prize in the "Original Costume" category! It looks like I might be the "wild one" now!
