Whose chickens began laying the soonest?

So, I'm curious, being a newby and counting the days until my chickens will begin laying.

What is the earliest that your chickens started laying?

My Light Brahmas, standard size, started laying at 21 weeks. What breed are your chickens?

I have blk australorps, buff orps, EE's and silver laced cochins. They are still very young, almost 6 wks, it's going to be a long countdown.

I saw a post on here where someone said their chicken laid at 8 wks!

My silkie started at 30 weeks. It was a LONG wait!

I have two 20+/- week olds that I'm hoping start before October.

Mine all averaged between 18-24 weeks, except 1 that started at 16 weeks.

My Red Sex Links were laying at 15 weeks old and the Golden Comets were 15 weeks also. I felt real lucky. Thanks a lot Girls. Every day when I gather their eggs i always tell them they did a good job and I always thank them.

I have one black australorp and two millie fleur d'uccles that are around 22 weeks old and still no eggs.

My BA's comb and wattles have gotten quite a bit larger and have turned bright red, so...

... hopefully I'll get an egg from her soon.

Our EE started at 19 wks, Bo started at 20 and our Old English started at 24 wks. Our EE is the best layer.

I only have one laying and she started at about 19wks. My others are 12wks, 20wks, and 21wks and none of them are laying.
