Whose egg is whose?

I have three ducks (a rouen, a swedish, and a cayuga). All of them are same age and started laying at the same time. I get 3 eggs a day but all of them are white and look the same. Is there any way I can tell whose egg is whose?

Odd. I'd expect the cayuga to give you a darker grey egg.

Get yourself 3 different colored lipsticks (green, orange, blue) for cheap from the dollar store. Use a different color for each bird. Next time they lay, the eggs should be marked with each ones color. Once you know who is laying which, throw the lipstick away! You wouldn't want to accidentally use it after its been back there.

Yep! A few drops of food coloring in the vent works too! I forgot about that trick.

I've been lucky so far, have been able to differentiate my girls (4) eggs by their shape. I stalked them when they started laying to study their eggs, Hubby thought I was NUTS
