Whose Waiting This week for Meyer's Chicks to arrive????

The mail arrives at my local post office at 7:30, it's now 7:50, and waiting impatiently for a call

. I'm getting a feeling I'm gonna have to wait longer for my chicks

No chicks on the afternoon express either

. I took today off so I could get my chicks! I have to work tomorrow

Don't worry, all will be fine. My chicks arrived from Meyer's exactly 1 week ago. All arrived alive and healthy and still are. They are growing leap and bounds. I just love Meyer's. I got 3 EE, 3 Golden Buffs and 3 Cuckoo Marans. You can check out my chicks on my chicken cam. Post some pictures when yours arrive and enjoy!

All ya'll fretting and worrying over your babies in transit make me glad I opted to go to a private hatchery about an hour away. However, I was considering ordering more via the mail for next year but now I'm not so sure. I wish ya'll luck and health with your new featherbabies.

Oh I know they will be fine, but now I have to get someone to go pick them up at the Post office and get them in the broder for me since I'll be working. I live in northern, NY and it's only about a 6-7 hour drive from the hatchery so I figured that since they were coming express, that even if they didn't get here in the morning they would at least be here by the afternoon. But I guess there's nothing to do so I'll try and put on a happy face

I am still waiting.

I knew they were most likely going to be here on Wednesday morning early like last time, but I was ready if they came early!!

I am still impatiently waiting. A friend of mine ordred for delivery in he same timeframe as I did (April 12-14) and she got hers Sunday, so I am really impatient, lol!

The Post Office called tonight at 10. My 3 French Hens (Rare Maren Collection) arrived safe and sound.

There were 2 heat packs in with them. They ate and drank and are sleeping now. (Hope I can!!) I will post photo's tomorrow. I will be needing help with what everyone thinks they are. Thanks Meyer's!!!
