NO! You cannot sex EEs by colour. You can sex SOME VARIETIES of all breeds (including pure mutts) by colour patterns.

I do agree that the OP's bird is a pullet. If you look at the neck lacing of columbian patterned birds, they usually look pointed based upon the lacing on hackle feathers. But if you pick up individual hackle feathers and look at them closely, you will discover that the feather itself has a rounded, not a pointy tip. Columbian is not a pattern that is sexable based upon the pattern.
