WHY ARE MY BARRED ROCKS NOT LAYING WHEN MY AMERAUCANAS ARE LAYING ?

i thought barred rocks were hardy winter layers. i used to fool my dominiques by giving them scratch feed for a week then going back to layer pellets and free range.
