Why are my black Cochin chicks coming out white?

I have a bantam black Cochin hen and a bantam black Cochin rooster. She has gone broody and today I noticed some little dads poking out from under her. Noticed one chick is black but the other is all white (light yellow) color. I have other hens in the coop but the onl rooster is the black cochin. Just wondering how it's possible that two black Cochins have bred and now have a white chick?

Don't know the answer for sure, but I do know that I have three black Australorps and they have some white patches. From what I've read, some white areas are normal and will probably eventually turn black.
