Why are people so nasty~Ebay auction...

Well from what that says the seller was within the guidelines for not accepting echecks.

I never accept PayPal e-checks. I want to send out the eggs right away, and e-checks take too long to clear. I have the eggs at the end of the auction, and I dont want them to sit around for 5 days before I can ship them. If somebody paid with e-check, when specifically stated "Do not pay by echeck", I would nicely ask them to change their payment, and if they dont want to change their payment, I would hold onto the eggs, and ship them after the check clears (3-5 days).

If they change their payment, they I would ship them the eggs right away, but if they pay by e-check when I state in the auction NO ECHECKS, then I will hold onto those eggs, and ship them once the payment clears. I think that is fair.

that's not what was in the pop up window i saw it was more detailed. i'm still looking to see if i have it somewhere in my history.

but if i read that right that part was deleted the new rule amended says-

The following new language will be added to section 4.3:

"Sellers may not communicate to buyers that they only accept, or will not accept, specific forms of PayPal payment."

i always put that too. that was what my understanding of it was so i haven't listed any since. forgive me i'm on dial up, still looking.

ok that was what i found on updated policies, this is what i found under my Payment Receiving Preferences-

Block the following payments:
Pay with eCheck for website and Smart Logo payments, or German bank transfer for all website payments except eBay. NOTE: You may not block eCheck payments on eBay.

so i was right with what i read u cannot block e-checks u must accept all forms of paypal.

Well, im still not accepting E-CHECKS, and if they do, then the eggs will be held until the e-check clears, and that is their problem.

that's why i haven't relisted. i thought it was stupid too by the time u wait for the payment to clear their freaking they don't have their eggs yet and want to retaliate negs at ya and report u for non erforming seller. so when r we suppost to collect for them? i don't have time to wait i ship at auction end or within a few days of it depending on when the auction ends. all these new stupid rules and changes stink!!

I agree Sundown. As long as they know that the eggs will be shipped after payment has cleared, then they should know that they may be getting old eggs. "Suit yourself"...
