I did write him back and told him I'm a "bird brain" and I changed my method of payment this morning. He just sent me a response and told me they are going out tomorrow...

No harm no fowl...

I haven't read through the entire thread, but if I'm not mistaken, sellers now are required to take all forms of PayPal payment, including E-Check.

My post was only referring directly to e-Bay sellers-- I sell sometimes, and if I remember correctly, I got an email recently from them stating that if you list PayPal as an accepted form of payment, all forms must be accepted ( it used to be that you didn't even have to accept CC payments via PayPal for eBay- now you have to accept all PayPal payments if you choose to use it for eBay). If one is doing a personal transaction, one can do as one wishes-- eBay own's PayPal, so they can make the rules as far as eBay (but not personal purchases)
