Why are you strange?

because:
-well, there's the chicken thing...
-i dyed some of my hair purple (have had blue, red, pink)
-i daydream ALOT
-i can't remember things like what i had for breakfast or pick up milk at the store (even though that's what i went for in the first place) but i CAN remember things like the name of some kid i went to elementary school with or a friend's favorite flavor ice cream that they mentioned ONCE a long time ago.....
hmm.png

-i like alot of British shows like Top Gear, Rosemary and Thyme, The Beautiful People etc.

I never swear out loud
I love spoiling my chickens!
big_smile.png

I buy my chickens a huge tub of plain yogurt as a present each year for Christmas because they love it!
lol.png

I decorate the chicken coops for Christmas
I can't stand wearing clothes that don't seem to match
tongue.png

I say good night to each of my chickens, by name, every single night (or almost every single night, whenever I can)
When I give something (such as a chicken) a name, it has to have some meaning behind it
I'm a Vegetarian (shouldn't be considered "strange" but oh well
tongue.png
)
I can't go underwater at all...my ears seem to be very sensitive and will easily become plugged, even if they are submerged for a very short period of time...and so when I go swimming or something, I will never go underwater!
tongue.png

I wear some makeup, but just a tiny bit of cover up and lip gloss, and occasionally some eye shimmer stuff on special occasions...but I never wear mascara, eyeliner, etc. My eyelashes are naturally very long and thick, and in fact most of the time it looks like I am wearing mascara!
roll.png

I hate it when I see girls at my school with tons of makeup all over their faces; with so much eyeliner/mascara that it makes them look like raccoons, with tons a eye shadow, and caked with foundation. I think they should realize that they are just as pretty going natural than covering up their whole faces, and there's nothing wrong with just a little makeup if they really feel the need to wear it.
thumbsup.gif
But it drives me crazy when they mask their entire faces with it, like it's "overkill" or "overdone".
I'm OBSESSED with the Legend of the Guardians: The Owls of Ga'Hoole movie and the Guardians of Ga'Hoole (by Kathryn Lasky) book series!

I'm also obsessed with the song, "Take to the Sky" by Owl City that was featured in the movie. It's my phone's ring tone and it's my most favorite song ever! And the music video is amazing!

I love to draw and am one of the best students in my art class, not to brag (A+ so far!
big_smile.png
)
I tend to be a major "people-pleaser" because I'm so friendly and polite to everyone
If I ever get a grade on a school assignment/test/project/anything, even the most significant thing in school that is a B or lower, I feel as though I failed and if I ever got a C on something I would probably cry
lol.png

I've NEVER had a detention, and I've NEVER had to be yelled at by a teacher or pulled aside and talked to by a teacher for "bad behavior" or something, like I've seen happen to many other students...
I'm a major procrastinator (and BYC is a major enabler for my procrastination!
lol.png
), yet I ALWAYS get my work done and get good grades anyways
tongue.png
(In my math class last year, I missed one single homework assignment out of the whole year, and that was because I completely forgot about it and it somehow got lost in my folder before I found it the next day when it was due.
roll.png
But since it had been my only not-completed assignment, I didn't get in trouble for it.
cool.png

I recently have been getting very terrible stage fright for no reason at all; things such as simply reading a summary in front of my English class, presenting projects for a class, etc. usually cause me to tremble, stumble on my words, and become very nervous. I've always been nervous about presenting something in front of a lot of people, and a lot of people are like that, but now it seems worse because I tremble uncontrollably (but not very noticeably) and then I worry that my audience will notice my trembling, and I become more nervous, and I stumble on my words..
th.gif
But before the presentation, I will be completely (for the most part anyways) calm and relaxed. And when I stand up in front of the audience to present my presentation, I feel confident and perfectly fine, though slightly nervous. But then, as soon as I start reading and only when I start reading/presenting my project, I begin to tremble slightly.
hu.gif

If I get into a good book while reading it, I will sometimes completely forget about the time and it will seem as if I can hear the chracters talking to each other and I can "see" what's happening, like in a movie. And it's almost as if I can picture what the characters would look like, even if I've never actually seen them other than their description in the book. That only happens with particularly good, descriptive books though
pop.gif

I've never dyed my hair a different color than its natural color, because I love my hair the way it is
wee.gif

My ears aren't pierced at all
I'm rather short for my age
I'm very thin for my age (mostly because of my athleticism and Vegetarianism
tongue.png
)
When I write short stories during my free time, such as if I suddenly get a good idea to write about for a story, I will start it but never finish it. I have a dozen different stories, all started and either still in the beginning or in the middle, that are still not started and I haven't worked on them for a couple years now.
th.gif

I have a collection of at least 200 horse pictures that I drew, varying from painting, sketches, doodles, etc. (but mostly in pencil)
When I draw, the most difficult thing for me to draw is a chicken's comb (specifically the part where the comb and beak connect to each other, or the front of the comb), feathers, wings, a chicken's tail, a horse's neck and a horse's legs (they either turn out too short, too fat, too long, or too thin...or their length just doesn't match at all
lol.png
), and also another difficult thing to draw is water (such as in a pond/lake/ocean, etc.)
I talk to all of my chickens in a funny baby voice. They talk to me and I talk back to them...but that's not weird or anything, right?
lol.png

I LOVE BYC!
ya.gif
(and most of my friends think I'm crazy because of that
lol.png
)

Oh yeah, and did I mention that I tend to write a lot and be very "wordy"?
hide.gif

(Just ask the people who have seen me write on the "Konigtum von die Eule" owl roleplay thread!

)

I have rather... eclectic interests. I can talk about politics, history and economics, then a quarter of a second later discuss the latest Halo game. I can carry on a discussion of "A Tale of Two Cities," which was lead up to by discussing the history of the AK-47 and Communism.
lol.png
I know, I'm completely insane. I can also hijack any conversation or thread. I've hijacked my own threads before.
hide.gif

Hmm... I'm strange because:
-I talk to myself
hide.gif

-I love my chickens
-I love science (like... advanced biology...and chemistry....
droolin.gif
)
-I like math
-I can discuss heavy topics with people who you'd think would know more about them than me
-I hate and have hated forever peas, green beans, and broccoli
-I will read anything and spot even the tiniest grammatical error
-It drives me nuts when people repeatedly confuse "their," "there," and "they're," and "your" and "you're," and "to" and "too" etc....
roll.png
Oh, and "women" and "woman" as well.

There are a lot of other things that make me strange and weird... I jus can't remember them at the moment.

I'm also pretty sure I have OCD to some degree. Spelling errors make me ANGRY, as does improper punctuation. When I see someone texting, I suddenly get the urge to smack the phone into their face. Seriously.
