Why aren't my chickens laying eggs?

I give mine fresh fruit, also. It seems that I saw a post recently that stated fruit slows down the production of eggs??? Is this true??

Most of my hens are 27 weeks this Friday. Out of 10 hens, only 2-3 are laying and I only get maybe 6-7 eggs a week. So don't feel bad!

Tell your friends that your chickens got swapped at birth and they got yours and you got theirs!!!! Then you will get some eggs.. hehehe

Like most of you I am waiting for my pullets to start laying. Supposedly a watch pot never boils. Could it be that a watched chicken never lays?

My 6 girls are housed and penned. I was getting on average 1 egg every other day. I recently added an outside light in their pen which comes on at 4:30 AM giving them more 'daylight' hours. Since the light, I'm getting 2 to 4 eggs per day

that is not true chickens need nutrition the more nutrition the more eggs your chicken will produce !!!!!!!!!
