Why aren't my chickens roosting

I got two chickens 2 days ago, a lohman brown and a columbian black tail. They have settled in quite nicely, they seem happy and put themselves to bed at night but I have noticed they seem to be sleeping in the nest boxes rather than roosting. I think they are about 12-14 weeks old. Does anyone have any ideas why this maybe and should I worry about it.

I wonder if the roost is lower than the nest boxes, as they generally like to roost at the higher spot. If the nest boxes ARE lower, than you may want to block them for a few nights. Perhaps that would help.
