Why can't I get my shipped chicken eggs to hatch?!?!

And.... once again I am a one-chick wonder. Maybe a two-chick, if I'm lucky. 0 for 20 on the silver grey dorkings - the airsac by day 18 takes up half the egg, even with the humidity increased to 55-60%. I just candled them, and didn't see any movement, but I'll leave them just a little longer just to be sure. 1 for 20 so far on the Mille Fleur eggs from Peeps7 - one more has movement in it, so

for two. Even my mutt eggs, which were placed in the incubator with the SGDs don't look like they're going to do anything, and their airsacs look fine. Could be they're just too well packed in there, and going to pip any moment.

I sure hope Cynthia didn't send me eggs in vain...

Dang it girl what is going on. HEy sorry to hear this but lets hope you are wrong. Hatching vibes to you.
I posted pics of my chic's can ya check them out and let me know if those dorkings are girls or boys (not trying to rub it in I really am sorry). We'll get dorking to you one way or another girl hang in there.

I am so sorry. This is not unusual with shipped eggs. I have had many many many failed hatches with shipped eggs.

I know... but mine seem to be worse than most. I've had 6 shipments of chicken eggs so far, and 3 chicks to show for it. Not counting the quail, of course. You'd think they'd be more fragile, but I tell you what, them suckers are strong!

I'm just frustrated as all get out, because they develop until day 7 or so, then start dying off until I can only put 3-4 in the hatcher. Even then, I'm holding my breath to see if any hatch. Granted, I probably have the strongest little babies here, if they made it this far, but I should have just gotten chicks. *sigh*
