Why Can't You Put Quail and Chickens Together

The other link provided earlier said yes, but it is expensive and time consuming and each bird needs to be tested.
Also, even if your birds are clean, they would have to be very isolated from other birds outside the flock you have at the time of testing, and any place you have been with birds as not to get it.

I have buttons though so heating is an issue, and all my chickens free-range

You could build a coop and let them free range in the day, they would use the coop at night like they do the building...

I never understand everyone wanting to mix birds. a 6 lb bird with a 1 lb bird never good...wonder can i put button quail in my peacock pen ???. not that i woul;d risk my peafowl with a $ 2 bird
