Congratulations!! I hope you have a great hatch.

I have found myself incubating eggs, due to hatch on Thanksgiving. It wasn't my plan or my intention. But I set an egg and I liked it! (haha)

I believe I had the ebay auction for the splash and mille fleur cochin bantam eggs "saved" to possibly bid on that one myself once my incubators are empty.

We ALL need to put eggs in this week - and have an early christmas hatch! Christmas pictures would look aweful cute with fuzzy chicks in them! lol!

Oh, y'all should join the Third Annual New Year's Day Hatch! It's great fun! Lots and lots of folks with January chicks!

Set day is Dec. 11. I've been looking at eBay and BYC auctions, waiting for some ending closer to that day, so I can participate. (If nothing else, I will set some Trader Joe eggs and some bantam eggs of my own.)

This is like a fast moving virus, taking over everything in it's path! It's raining here today too and it's naptime. I should be sewing but instead I'm cruising the web looking at the BYC auctions. And there are some bantam Cochins that I absolutely want like nothing else! I'm resisting but trying to scheme at the same time. I have only one incubator that has Seramas in it right now, not due 'til next Friday. I have one hen house that is already a couple hens over what the max recommendation is for occupancy (night time roosting seems pleasant enough though so I'm not worried) and I have a husband that doesn't just think I'm crazy, he KNOWS it!
