Why did my duck act like she’d lay an egg soon but ended up not laying?

She’s even trying to sleep now. I’m happy she seems fine, but I’m worried she may be egg bound.
Still, she seems pretty good to me. Her tail is a little droopy, but it’s been like that for sometime now and her eyes are quite awake when she looks at me, so I don’t think she feels unwell. She walks as much as she usually does and she isn’t acting like she’ll lay anymore.

Still, I can kind of feel something residing there. I don’t know if it’s an egg or just fat since she’s been eating fatter foods these days.
Does anyone know any possible reasons this may be happening?

My silkie was doing this same thing lately. Sitting like she was laying but get up with no egg under her.
