Looks like they are having fun if the sand is dry they will just shake it off, it's normal to look a bit dusty afterwards. If there is too much poop in the sand you can clean it out and give them some fresh sand.

You mean with water? That's ok, just be very careful that they don't get cold while they are wet. But for next time, it isn't necessary, the dust will come off on it's own. Unless they get poop stuck on them, then it's ok to clean it off with water.

Yeah..the water was quite hot..not at all cold
