One time during a really cold spell we had this winter, my mom asked me to go to the local grocery store to pick up some kindling wood. I bought two huge bags of recycled garden posts and stakes and waited in line. The guy behind me asked "going vampire huntin tonight?" "Yeah, we got a real problem with those around our house." It's become a big joke now, instead of kindling we just call them vampire stakes now.
