Do they see you as a moving treat dispenser, a companion, a protector, or something else?

my bet is the treat option

I would like to think companion, but I'm quite certain it's for the treats! I also believe they know I'm their protector but I think I'm liked for the bowls of yummy treats I bring their way. If I'm in the yard and have anything at all in my hands (bucket, cup, bowl, paper, etc...) they think it is something yummy for them and start hoping all over me!

With the exception of two that think I give the world's best chicken massage the rest of my chickens like me for one reason. They can't drive to the grocery store themselves.

My buffy’s especially love to hop up and be held. You pet their waddles and necks, and talk to them, they’ll be there all day.

You sit down and "Sweetie Pie" is next to you clucking softly within seconds!
