why dont people ever have mutt birds

Our whole flock is practically mutts; lol. I have a very handsome buff polish/easter-egger mix. He's a charming fella.

LOL... What we have to do is change the look of Barnyard chicks, Mutts, or what ever and call them Designer Chickens.. you know like they do with dogs now... A Shiz-a-poo... Ect.. SO with that being said ...

I breed purebred rumpless tufted araucana chickens, I also sell eggs at the local farmers markets and people like variety, so my egg laying flock is a mix of everything under the sun and every fall I hatch eggs from them to I can have new egg layers in the spring. The roo is an araucana but the girls are everything else.

Araucana's are still my favorite but I do love having a nice variety of colors and sizes running around my yard. Plus the variety in egg color I get is wonderful.
