I don't remember that but maybe Noah got hungry on the Ark.

I think it was after Noah in the food laws. Probably Moses' time frame. Chapter 11 if I'm not mistaken. I'm old enough to be mistaken, you know.

Wow, talk about OT! (I do remember when as a kid, we had our pony eating in the front yard and a boy on a bicycle asked me if that was a cow, LOL)
Actually, the Jewish food law in the Old Testament says something about "all fowls that creep, going upon all four, shall be an abomination unto you", doesn't say it was a chicken. What that is, I'm not sure, but maybe it doesn't exist anymore. A bat was considered a fowl then. They have four legs if you count those things on their wings.

SO, back to rooster eggs.....

DH wants to know, do you have to have a hen to get a rooster egg?

You guys think you've got it tough! The question I get most often here in town is: "IS THAT A CHICKEN???" I've thought about saying: " NO- That is the extremely rare White Two-Legged Splayed-Toed Feathered Cat!" and seeing where that got me. . . .

ROTFLMAOPMP Now that's funny!!
