I still can't get over my friends asking what kind of a animal is a rooster, I should had told them it was just a wierd looking dog lol. Some people might belive that.

Believe it or not, I do get some folks wanting hens, not the roosters that I put on Freecycle. I kept telling them NO< NO>NO! But calls still keeps coming in!

Next time I will put up roosters on freebies, I will put down in capital letters NO PULLETS OR HENS AVAILABLE!!!

The demand for Blue Orp pullets are in high gear and they never stop asking for any whenever those culled blue orps roo chicks I sold and gave away.

I can feel your pain you all!

I love those comments and questions those newbie chicken owners ask about our chickens!

Awhile back, I posted an ad in a farm ads to see if there was any interest in a "broody Silkies TRADE".

I've had 3 different people contact me about selling the girls!!!

All 3 informed me that I COULD buy more if I did a Silky search...it was sooooo hard to be nice and not blurt out "You could just do a search and buy your own also!".

The worst one even joined here, after I gave him the info & explained he'd probably find someone closer to him on here, just so he could PM me and hound me some more! Put a stop on that real quick!!!

I think the dumbest comment I get is "you can't get eggs if you don't have roosters". Some of them are dumb enough to argue this point with me.
