I live in lithuaniaI would consider worming him. Albendazole, fenbendazole, and levamisole are effective wormers. What is your general location in the world?
Most people here feed chickens with one type of grain or layer feed. We also give the chickens food leftovers. Our chickens often walk around the pond and eat something there, sometimes they even get into the water. Could it be that the rooster ate something from there and got sick?I think the rooster feels a bit better. Most effective wormers used in chickens are also used in cattle, sheep, and goats. You should be able to find one of those listed above in local feed or agricultural stores. If you need help figuring dosages, let us know. What do people there usually feed their chickens? A mix of grains with enough protein, vitamins and minerals is usually healthy. How is your rooster doing today?
