Why Have Adverts Suddenly Started Popping UP?

Hi,
I'm wondering why, suddenly, adverts have started popping up whenever I changed the page on BYC.

It's really annoying and starting to drive me crackers!

Why is it happening and is there any way for me to stop it?!

Hello,
I've been a member since right before the format change. I don't have a premium membership but up until this morning I have not had any issues with ads. The ads are typically at the top or bottom of the page. Inveterate this am I'm getting pop ups that are covering almost half my phone screen.

even when I am trying to type. Is this normal and or is it going to continue to happen?

another example. I wouldn't mind if it's once in a while but it's happening every 30 seconds or so.

I agree. I have one popping up every time I view a new page. It wouldn't normally be a problem, but it's disrupting the feed and making my system run very slow. As an example, when I clicked on this thread to reply, I accidentally clicked something that caused the ad to "stick". Now I can't get rid of it and can No longer view this post. Very frustrating.

It seems to be purposely popping up at times your most likely to click on it accidentally. . like when trying to post.

Yes! It's positioned so that it's nearly unavoidable. I completely understand the need to make money to keep this website going, but the number of ads are overwhelming.

Was just going to ask the same thing. The pop up ads on every page are super annoying!

Do you mean actual pop up ads? or the ads on the side of each page?

I'm on mobile. They start covering half the screen then shift down to the bottom. A new ad every time you change a page.

Pop up ads. They take half the screen on my phone anyway.

This WILL impact how I use BYC.
