LOL!! Why do you assume that vegans have a better quality of life than meat eaters?

Wow, that's really funny to me. I used to have anemia problems, when I ate meat. I also had dandruff and skin problems, and don't anymore, including my much improved Multiple Sclerosis symptoms. You can't argue with an MRI. And that IS an autoimmune disease. My son broke a finger a few months ago and it healed lickity split, his ortho was surprised. My mother had high blood pressure and hypertension, no more. Her fiance had diabetes, that he completely reversed, it's GONE. And I do have a lot of respect for those who raise their own animals for meat. I just don't have the room to do it, and I'm doing great the way we are.

Can you help me find more information about diet and health issue. I have epilepsy and neurocardiogenic syncope and my neurologist does not have any info to offer me on diet for my health issues. The only thing he gave me was a list of what I should not eat to prevent migraines. I would greatly appreciate any websites or other info you have to offer. I have been advised by my doctor to increase my salt intake and take my meds but I am still having issues. I would also like a few books on this subject as well if anyone could recommend some books that would be wonderful.

Depends on who you ask and how far you want to go to get that "warm and fuzzy".

Veganism
From Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia
Veganism is the practice of eliminating the use by human beings of non-human animal products. Ethical vegans reject the commodity status of animals and the use of animal products for any purpose, while dietary vegans or strict vegetarians eliminate them from the diet only.[1]

Animal products
Further information: Animal product and Rendering (food processing)
Lard from pigs

An animal product is any material derived from animals, including meat, poultry, seafood, eggs, dairy products, honey, fur, leather, wool, and silk. Other commonly used animal products are bone char, bone china, casein, beeswax, carmine, gelatin, isinglass, lanolin, lard, rennet, shellac, tallow, whey, and yellow grease. Many of these may not be identified in the list of ingredients in the finished product.[10] There is disagreement among groups regarding the extent to which all animal products must be avoided. According to the Vegan Society, vegan products must, as far as possible and practical, be entirely free of animal involvement, and their development and manufacture must not have involved animal testing.[11] The society will not certify a product as vegan unless its production has not involved the use of any animal derivative.[12] Neither the Vegan Society nor the American Vegan Society consider the use of honey, silk, or other insect products to be suitable for use, while Vegan Action and Vegan Outreach regard that as a matter of personal choice.[13]

I thought the same thing until I saw a chart of what all is made with animal materials. Let's just say that if that is what a vegan is, they are naked and live in a grass hut.

My family has autoimmune disorders including me. We did the vegan diet for quite a long time just to give it a shot and we showed noooo improvement, so I think you need to be careful assuming that it will help everyone. I think you have to look at the bigger picture. I find that I myself and my son do best on a organic natural diet, no chemicals, no antibiotics and no hormones makes the biggest difference, not eliminating meat. He has JRA and on a vega diet, his arthritis took hold of his joints and did a lot of damage, when we introduced organic, grass fed, etc etc, meat, he showed a vast improvement and new bone growth. So please be careful assuming that it helps all autoimmune diseases.

This is true. Each persons makeup is very different from another. Something as simple as one person gets full eating an apple and they make me hungry

. We are all different.
