My friends have started calling my place The Chicken Ranch. I'm pretty sure that was the ummm... questionable place in "The Best Little Whorehouse in Texas".

Thats funny. I feel your pain though. Before I accidently ran across this forum I was searching for information to raise a few cattle. Now that I have found this chicken forum I have spent some MONEY. I have gotten every penny back in eggs alone. Really I have. Good luck. I only live on 5 acres (all by myself too) and its not enough

That is correct. We actually MOVED because we wanted more farm animals. Yep we did!

...as you can see chickens are the gate way farm animal...next it's ducks, goats, sheep, and cattle and horses. Just say, moo.
