Well, that's easy to fix. Feed hubby nothing but eggs and you'll have money to buy feed with what you save feeding hubby eggs. You may even have enough left over to buy more chickens!

hubby would think so also. I would surely do that if I could get by with it.
I asked my dh to build me a tiny coop for two hens, he offered to build one for 6--six hens would be plenty, but I might want to have a roo , too..ok, he offered to build it large enough for 7... then I found a cement slab on the property--It was 7'x10' talked him into building a coop on that---that's 70sq feet --divided that by 5 sq. ft. needed by each bird and found out I could get 14 chickens in that building, ordered a dozen, then decided I had to have a roo -----so now I had 13... that was good... UNTIL I decided I needed a Easter Egger to go with my RIR, BR, BO, true Ameraucanas--that's good!!! Then I go to the chicken tour this weekend and find out that I really would love to have a SLW.....and my brother has some really nice bantam Cochins, I would love to have, that go broody all the time....that would be good EXCEPT
I am out of room!!! So now, I need to ask dh if he will build another coop or a much larger run!!!!!!!with little coopets for my the rest of my list.....
