Hello!! I have two teetar (grey francollins) and the female one has been rubbing her eye on her feathers repeatedly and seemed kind of irritated so I picked her up and examined her and I noticed that her left eye was a bit swollen than the other and it was watery as well (I’ll add some pictures for reference and if you guys want I’ll try to take a video in which she was rubbing her eye on her feathers) so naturally I’ve been a little concerned. I will be taking her to the vet tomorrow but just wanted some opinions on what might be the problem!

Yes, I would like to see photos of her.
I've never seen a Teetar before. She's a type of ground bird? Maybe the size of a Quail?

I hope the vet will be able to see her tomorrow.

Hard to know why she's rubbing her eye. Can you rinse it with saline and see if she may have some debris/dirt in the eye that is irritating it? If it's swollen, then you can put an eye ointment like Terramycin in the eye after you clean the eye with saline. Your vet will likely give you ointment for her.
