why is one of my chicks stinky? UPDATE!!

if it were sour crop though.... it would have been going on since she was just a couple of days old. she'll be 3 weeks old I think tomorrow or the next day.. wouldn't that be an awful long time to have sour crop and she acts fine? not like I know much about it... but still?

hmm....that would..she might not have anything wrong with her..she might just be stinky.

but whats making her stinky is the thing... ya know? my other chicks are NOT stinky. there's got to be a reason why she's stinky don't you think? I mean like stinky enough that you can smell her a foot away? thats stinky!!! and not to mention, gross.

she might have just naturaly nasty smelling skin, it could be that she just has really nasty habbits, or it could just be hormones..lol but i doubt its hormones. :\\ im not to sure what it could be thats make'in your chick stinky

I just got a buff silkie and she is smelly too, she is 8 months old and poop sticks to her butt and even when I get that clean she is still smelly, sour like, and I dont know what else but none of my 12 other birds smell like this? What to do?

Bad smell coming from around her face could be a nasal infection or sour crop or some other infection in the mouth. Hmmm... separate her from the rest for a while, and watch her nose and mouth for signs of anything?
