so my flock of yellow buff Orpingtons (2 pullets and one Young roo along with hen) have been getting spoiled with treats like mealworms, bird seed, and these peanut butter balls made for birds. But when I went in their coop I saw some poo thst looked like diarrhea! Is it because of what I’m feeding them? Do I need to tone down the treats?

Without seeing the poo's no telling, could be normal, or not. Lots of things can cause runny poo's, diet, hot weather and increased water intake, parasites, etc. Cecal poo's look different and are normal. But if your treats amount (and treats really encompasses everything that isn't chicken feed) is exceeding 10% max of their daily diet, then I would really cut back. If it isn't causing issues now, it could lead to problems later, visceral fat buildup around the organs, dietary/vitamin deficiencies, egg quality problems, weakened immune systems, poor feather quality, etc. Whatever they eat in treats, they do not eat in feed. It is very easy to 'over treat'.

Here’s a picture of one of their poo’s

Yesterday I just give them a handful of mealworms but today I mixed up bird seeds with mealworms
That's not too bad.
Do you feed them regular feed mainly, like pellets or crumbles?

If they are only fed these treats they are missing out on essential nutrients and would get diarrhea.

They are feed laying mash from the feeder right now. And take a look at the poo picture from one of my previous replies and see what you think
