I asked my DH if I could buy another incubator because waiting 3 weeks for a hatch is just too long. I got the look.

Daaang and I wannna borrow an incubator I am so not a chicken person. Funny story my wife told me this one for the 1000'd time about her grandmother visiting from the GDR, and who brought a slaughtered duck to feed her poor starving west german offpring in winter. I still love the story but a 65 year old woman who brings you a dead duck in the middle of winter seems odd to me.
