Thanks Beth! Maybe you could post pics of your boys sometime?
I was talking with the boys breeder this morning via email. They wanted to know if the boys were showing their protective side yet. Only all the time, but in different ways. Jax is the one that will bark and definitely make a stranger aware of his presence. Kane just sits quietly and watches.
Very closely related, but also very different. Same mannerisms and traits, but totally different personalities.

That is too funny. The way you describe them is soo GSD! One of my boys Jake patrols the house all night while the other Dutch sleeps. Then During the day Dutch is the one to alert to any noises. Because I have 3 pouches at a time they have a pack thing going in the sense of taking on certain duties/responsibilities of the homeland. I once had a girl visit with a Timberwolf and she was afraid to let him loose telling me dogs are afraid of him. My boys basically put him in his place gently being the youngster newbie and they played for hours. The lady was in shock! But, again I can turn it on and off and no other breed that I have owned has this quality. Good Luck with them and enjoy!
