Why ME, God?

Well it's been in the teens in ATL lately... but it's still a pain! Having my yard an acre long, I have to walk all the way back there with all the wind, slam the waterer against a tree to break the bark, change the feed, check for eggs... alright, maybe I'm making a little much out of this but... it's just a pain. :thud

Forget about God, ask yourself why all these people that don't know you are trashing you?

Anne's out! She had cataract surgery this morning, and not only did I have to feed/water all the chickens, I even had to feed the dogs.
Should have had her put down when she broke her leg.

At least you dont have to snow shovel a path 100 feet to the coop like I do in the pitch dark at 5PM in the late afternoon.

Since this is a family forum, I'll be gentle. I assume you know the difference between a Yankee and a Darn Yankee? The Yankees go back home.

Yes, I moved to Texas and bought property. One of my coworkers gave me "Texan" lessons when I first moved here. My favorite coke is Dr. Pepper. Cholula sauce is a nutrient. Even though I know how to drive in snow, I understand why the roads close when we get 1/16" of snow.

Just strap on the ski's or snow shoes... Our coop is 500 feet.. no way I am shoveling that..
(I will say it is nice to be able to use the sled again to haul feed and water...)
