Why stick my head under my wing when I can stick it under my best friends butt?

She must have been really cold. I found her with her head buried in this ones butt. Just snuggling away. LOL.
 
My Wyandottes do that all the time! They stuff their heads beneath each others wings and feathers, to keep warm.
 
These two are still terrified of me; though the winter has brought us much closer together. They are too cold to run away LOL. They are best buds though these two.. I wish I could have gotten a better photo.. she was basically sitting on her head when I first peeked in on them.
 
Awwwww, she knows there are lots of nice warm feathers there!
