Why won't NC TSC sell baby chicks???

The Southern States in Mt Airy has chicks every Spring...

OK guys! I'm NOT crazy! I WAS told that they didn't sell them here because of avian flu and it was by a sales person. So did they STOP for a while for some reason and start back up again (without me noticing?) I feel like I have Alzheimers all of the sudden...

Could be just that TSC. The TSC in Shelby sells them in the spring and I think the new one up in Denver (by Lake Norman) is planning on doing it too. I haven't gotten any there as of yet. They had a sign at the one in Shelby with all the breeds that they carry. I never seem to get there on the days that they get them in. I got my at the local feed store in Mt. Holly.

Loopy is ok. Makes you just like the rest of us!!

Just got back from our TSC and asked while I was there and was told it is up to each store manager if they want to get them or not, how many, what kind, and where they get them from.

Our TSC sells them in Spring, and you can also special order anything you want during that time

Yeah, I've kind of noticed that about the TSC in Shelby. The one in Denver is really nice though. You will have to come down out of the hills to this one.

Yeah, the TSC in Shelby just about makes me nuts sometimes. They only have one person working in there that is worth keeping. Now the one in Hickory I have always liked. They seem to have more items in stock.
