Hope the burrowing going on there at the perimeter is not from the dog.....

No not at all. And that dog is just a pup. He actually goes in the cood with me. And the burrowing is not really burrowing. Its where water use to run under there in a real hard rain before i did some ground work and stopped it .

Good deal - I know our run has areas that look like that along the inside of the perimeter that are from the flock thinking that is the best place to dig out dust bathing pits

Mine enjoy trying to dig a hole to china along the bottom of the run as well...usually in the corners. They've got some pretty deep holes goin..

My chickens seem to dig and dirt bathe in the middle of the coop. I hope they stay that way. That pup is a black mouth cur. He loves the chickens. When i let him out he heads straight down there. The chickns see him coming and come to the front to see him. Its pretty neat to see. These are new chickens to. He just goes with me everytime i go down there. So i think they associate him with me
